Val Venis over "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (with Tennessee Lee, Southern Justice and Yamaguchi-san) after a roll-up. Venis then told Yamaguchi that Kyoko (Mrs. Y.) said he could never "measure up" to him.

>< D-Lo Brown (with The Godfather) over X=Pac (with Chyna) after a "Sky High" powerbomb. The match was a non-title bout, with D-Lo's European championship not on the line.

>< Kevin Kelly and MatRat announced that the Undertaker had not yet arrived at the arena

>< In a pre-match interviewed, Terry Funk announced that tonight's match would be his last match in the WWF for about 6 months. His partner, Bradshaw, didn't know about this until the very second Funk announced it, and showed his displeasure on his face.

>< 2 Cold Scorpio & Faarooq over Terry Funk & Bradshaw when Scorpio pinned "The Funker". Bradshaw attacked Terry Funk afterward, Scorpio made the save.

>< Marc Henry over Vader after a powerslam.

>< Update from backstage: The Undertaker still has not arrived at the arena.

>< Kane and Mankind came out with Paul Bearer. Bearer accused the Undertaker of being a coward. The New Age Outlaws came out to interrupt Bearer's spiel and challenged Kane & Mankind to a rematch for the titles on tomorrow night's Raw. then attacked the current tag champs for an exclamation point.

>< 8-Ball & Skull over LOD 2000 after the identical twins did their usual switch following some interference from manager Paul Ellering.

>< Vince McMahon and his lackeys Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco and Sgt. Slaughter came out. McMahon annouced that he was not at fault if the Undertaker did not appear tonight. He read a clause in the program insert stating that "The Promoter reserves the right to make a suitable substitution", and added that he was prepared to make that substitution: The Brooklyn Brawler(???)

>< In a rather pathetic booking, Owen Hart defeated Ken Shamrock in a match that allegedly took place at Stu Hart's Dungeon, when he hit Shamrock in the head with a dumbell, then moved his head to make it look like he tapped out. Dan Severn was the referee and had been knocked out, allowing Owen to cheat his way to victory.

>< INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH, TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS: Rocky Maivia vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley -- Halfway through the match, Marc Henry came out to splash Triple H again; Bad Ass Billy Gunn made the save. Rocky struck Helmsley with his belt and attempted a couple of pins only for Helmsley to kick out both times. The Godfather came out to try to interfere only to have the New Age Outlaws intercept him. D-Lo tried to interfere only to get land balls-first on the ropes courtesy of Helmsley. A distracted Helmsley was hit with "Rock Bottom" for the first fall. D-Lo attempted to interfere again only to get intercepted by Chyna. X-Pac snuck in and hit a face-first powerbomb on The Rock. A Maivia chairshot missed Hemlsley and hit the ref, allowing Chyna to sneak in and DDT The Rock on the chair (you go, girl!). Helmsley covered the Rock for the pin. Two refs were attending to the fallen ref when Triple H attempted to pin the still-stunned Maivia. Earl Hebner ran in to take over the match with less than two minutes to go. Several more near falls occur. Helmsley reversed the Rock Bottom into the Pedigree and went for a cover, but with enough time to get the pin (WTF??), Hebner instead called the match a draw.

>< Footage of Mark Callaway (the Undertaker) finally arriving at the arena was shown.

>< Dustin Runnels, unannounced, went through some more annoying born-again B.S. (this angle is getting old already!!) prior to the bikini contest. Dustin, if a woman's body is really obscene, complain to the maker... besides, what does that make Marlena??

>< BIKINI CONTEST: Sable vs. Jacqueline (with Marc Mero). We won't print descriptions of the bikinis -- I'm sure pics will be up of both suits in a few minutes somewhere. Sable's was the overall winner by voice vote.

>< MAIN EVENT >< >< WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Kane & Mankind vs. The Undertaker & Stone Cold Steve Austin: Austin wrestled most of the match until 'Taker was tagged in. 'Taker made short work of both opponents, and got the pin and the tag belts for the team after tombstoning Kane. The show ended with the Undertaker leaving the ring with BOTH belts and Austin in the ring watching with bewilderment.

All in all, an average PPV and an interesting setup for Summerslam next month.
