Stone Cold Steve Austin. What could I say more??? Maybe the most popular wrestler of all time. The fans love him!! He obtains always the biggest pop in all the shows. It all started (in the WWF) at King Of The Ring 1996 when Austin won it. After the coronation he mocked Jake The Snake by saying "Austin 3:16 says that I have just whipped your ass!" Nobody knew it at the time, but he has said the most popular words in wrestling today. Austin 3:16 is everywhere!! On shirts, on hats on everything!! Austin defeated the phenom the Undertaker at SummerSlam without cheating or Outside interference! Not many men can do that! But The Austin`Texas native has done it and that's why he is the toughest S.O.B. in wrestling today! Here is his career.
His first Title in the wonderful world of pro wrestling was the WCW TV Title. It was June 3rd, 1991 when he defeated Bobby Eaton. His career was just starting.
After he had lost the WCW TV title to Barry Windham, rewon it to become a two-time WCW TV champion.
Stunning Steve Austin (as named in the WCW)won the tag titles
with his partner, the late Brian Pillman. The Tag Team was called Hollywood Blonds.
Later that year, Stunning Steve won The WCW US title when he defeated Dustin Rhodes. He was becoming one of the greats but his career is just half way from over.
after he lost The US Title to Ricky Steamboat, he rewon it one month later. This was the last Title he got in the WCW. He took the Way of WWF and he had some great moments there too.
In the WWF, Stone Cold Steve Austin won the tag belts with his tag partner Shawn Michaels. They defeated The British Buldog and Owen Hart on Raw.
Shawn Michaels took some time to recover from an injury.Dude Love replaced Shawn Michaels and they defended the titles successfully against British Buldog and Owen Hart.
Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Owen Hart at SummerSlam 1997
to become the new WWF intercontinental champion.But he was forced to
abandon the tag straps, and abandon his intercontinental championship due to Owen Hart's Piledriver that almost ended Austin's career.
At Survivor Series, Austin got his revenge against Owen Hart. In a fast match, Austin beat Owen Hart with the Stunner to became the intercontinental champion for the second time.
Austin got the shot at the big thing after he won the Rumble.
He faced Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania IV. And Stone Cold won that match.
After Austin lost to Kane due to interferenceof Undertaker, The night after Austin demanded a revenge. Kane gladly accepted and Austin regained the World Wrestling Federation Championship.
