This page is an opinion page... This is my opinion, and it is very strong
on this subject. Even if you disagree with what I believe, please consider
my idea of Kennels vs Invisible Fenceing vs Chains, as information. There have always been stories, I let my animal out for a potty break, and they got hit on the road. Or someone let the animal out of the house, or they sliped out without anyone seeing and ran away. I believe use of kennels and chains for your animal are best. They don't always have to be used, but they are safer then your animal getting hit on the road. I believe kennels and chains are the way to go because, you can have your animal on a chain, to play in the dirt, to go potty, whatever. The kennel to be used so, your animal stays in, and other creatures, that might be dangerous to your animal stay out. Invisible fencing, is what I don't believe in. If the wire is broken, your animal gets out and possibly dies, or gets picked up. Also, wolf hybrids get such a heavy winter coat, that the shock may not go though, and when your animal gets a certain amount of feet away from it, the shocking stops.
