He may have been the son of THOMAS WILKINSON and SARAH WILKINSON. He married MARY ANN MATE1 November 5, 18502, daughter of JAMES MATE and MARGARET PIERSON. She was born September 12, 1830 in Pointon, Lincolnshire, England2, and died June 23, 1904 in Granite Falls, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota.
