Aim to Maim

Aim to Maim is Steve the pervert's brightest star. These guys have invented their own unique style of music dubbed "Humor-Kore". To us they are known as Jack and Matt. To Steve it's just "cash cow". Releasing several demo albums on Steve the Pervert Records, most of which are still available, and touring the minneapolis scene, these guys are not to be missed. You would regret it deeply to pass up a show. It has been said that during live shows past, they have bitten the heads off chickens. How could you live with yourself knowing that you have passed that up? Click here to hear sound clips from songs Click here to view a complete discography
Intentional Mis*Hap
Intentional Mis*Hap is one of those bands that is so extremely catchy just after the first time you listen to them you find yourself humming a tune the next day at the luandromat or hammering out a drum riff on your jeans at the grocery store. It's surprising that a band so experimental can still be so catchy. Their sound is best described as a whirlwind of sonic guitar noises combined with a powerful droning yet intricate drum section to pull it all together. Vocals to make your eyes bleed is the frosting on the cake. God better watch his back cause these boys are just getting started. Mustard Seed
Mustard Seed, being a solo act, only put out a select few records on Steve spanning from 93-95. Mustard seed got started by one guy, Captain Black. He was sailing the seas with only his guitar, his parrot and his Casio Dual-Cassette Boombox. So one day after writting several songs down that he had been jamming on, he decided to hit record. Fourteen days of recording and re-writting turned in to 60 minutes of ultra dreamy, melody ridden lo-fi pop renamed "Texas Tea". Of course after he completed this tape he then quiclky threw his quitar over board and let out a short "AARGH" due to the frustration upon realizing he had just made a pop album while his goal was to be heavy metal. Although all of his recordings were quite good unfortunetly they are all out of print. Texas Tea was the name of the last full length album. There were two singles made off of it as well. The "Sniff" single, released 10/31/95, even included the ultra rare low-fi cover of the Aim to Maim song "Vitamins". Which was quite spectacular if I say so myself. Please flip to the Albums page to learn more about Mustard Seed's releases. It has been said that Captain Black is still out there making music. If you see him please tell him to call us, he owes us some money. He may be armed and is very dangerous, so be careful. Thank you for your help in capturing him. Q-Cumber
Q-Cumber was another solo act, compiled by a man named Jack Blackwood. This guy was extremely gifted, his songs ranged from funk, to hardcore eerieness, to heavenly pop. Jack Blackwood was something else. It was reported he had an eating problem and already weighing 350 pounds didn't help. Shortly after recording only his first album, "Drown In Leaves", Jack Blackwood died in his cabin due to a heart attack at the age of 31. We will all miss him. Godbless Jack Blackwood. Girls With Squirels
Girls With Squirels is a new up and coming solo act put together by the work of Matt Blood. With his unbelieveable talent for making great music on a low budget, he was sought after by Steve the Pervert records to record, produce, and even help out on some tunes for the new album. Matt's talents are showcased on the new album by Girls With Squirels, titled "I own a gerbil too". Release date scheduled for 1/25/98. Kids make sure to purchase this one and if you can't find enough money laying around try to steal mommy or daddy's credit card. Trust me, this record is well worth the punishment of sitting in the corner. Click here to view a complete discography
