Belle just had a litter of puppies April 14, 2002. They should be ready to go to homes around June 2nd. She is a 38 pound English Springer Spaniel. She has certified "good" hips. Her long legs and wirey body gives her stamina for a long hunt. Belle has a great nose, quarters naturally well, and is eager to please. She has a soft mouth, retrieves to hand, and is a good natured family dog. Belle's positive characteristics make her an enjoyable hunting dog, and she has given us many successful hunts. She has been hunted strongly for five years on grouse, pheasant, and ducks. Belle's achievements also include:

• Passing the A.K.C. water test with ease.
• Passing a senior hunt test.
• "Northern Minnesota Springer Spaniel" inter-club champion "shooting dog" for 2001 (steady shooting dog)

We bred Belle with Pine Shadows Timber III who is a 38 pound liver and white male English Springer Spaniel. According to Pine Shadows, "He has been hunted very strongly on grouse and has had good success with pheasants. He retrieves well to hand, responds well to all commands and stays within gun range all the time. In addition to his hunting talents, Timber is a great family dog."
