Hello, my name is Lola and welcome to my site. This has taken on a different feeling since I first started it. I started it with the intent of finding things for folks to read that would make them feel better as there are times in our lives when we don't feel so good about life, about ourselves and about the people we share our lives with. So my original idea was to create a place where people could go to read selections that would make them feel better. I still hope that people feel when they read the selections on my site, but I have come to a realization that one does not always have to feel better, that to simply feel is a good thing. So my search for selections to put on this page has taken a different shape...I now look for things that simply cause people to have an emotional response to what they are reading. So if you feel tears running down your cheeks when reading some of these, know that you are not alone as I too had tears while putting many of them on the site. Tears are not always a bad thing. Be prepared to laugh and to cry here....grab a box of kleenex and come on in.
