I say Horray to Colleen White for her letter to the editor of our local newspaper on her cat problem!!I read the letter she wrote and I also read the criticism she received. Now I have to ask those cat lovers if you are genuinely concerned about these cats getting hurt,why don't you get yourselves off your butts and go out to her house and get the animals and bring them home to safety? A bit of cold water will not kill a cat but a child consuming its faeces can harm a child very badly!
The owners of these cats should be held responsible for their cats wondering and you should be on their backs! Not condemning a women who is trying to allow her children to play outside on her property and is facing this daily!! I hope you people are faced with a problem like this one day and have the courage, as she did, to be honest and bring it to the publics attention! If this was my problem the negligent owners of these pests would not see their animals again after the first time they faeces in my yard and jeopardised one of my kids safety!
