The Seduction

What happened to good old-fashioned voyeurism? Remember when it was fun to spy on your neighbors with binoculars? We all learned it at the movies from James Stewart in Rear Window. But nowadays, there's only a thin line between being a Peeping Tom and being an outright stalker. Case in point - The Seduction (1982), which is all about a photographer and his obsession for a certain blonde anchorwoman. The stalker is Andrew Stevens and the object of his desire is Morgan Fairchild, a successful newscaster in Los Angeles.

Watch in amazement as Stevens's pursuit of Fairchild escalates from persistent phone calls, to telescope surveillance of her home, to outrageous acts of violence. Fairchild turns the tables on her tormenter, however, after he rudely interrupts her romp in the hot tub with Michael Sarrazin. After all, enough is enough! Fairchild grabs the nearest shotgun and turns her home into a shooting gallery with Stevens as the perfect moving target.
