Tifa was originally one of the primary members of AVALANCHE, until she gradually got caught up in the struggle for the life of the planet. She also has deep feelings for Cloud, although she would never admit it. Her fists can topple almost any enemy.

Her Limit Breaks are quite possibly the most powerful in the game at high levels. Instead of learning a new limit and then using it, Tifa progressivly uses all her limits, the damage of each attack being determined by how you get the slots to work.

Received in the small room with the machine gun in Wall Market. (Only in CD 2 or 3, if you excavate the Gate 5 Key in the Bone Village.)

Final Heaven

Received after you play the "Highwind" theme a few times on her piano. (Can only be gotten after Cloud rejoins you in CD 2.
