Odin | Shinra Mansion, inside the safe. | If cast on more than one enemy, Odin will appear and instantly kill all of them about 75-80% of the time. If cast on one enemy or any enemies that cannot be instantly killed, Odin will throw his spear at them, doing heavy damage. |
Leviathan | Wutai (after Yuffie defeats all five enemies at the Pagoda.) | Hits all non-flying enemies for Water-typed damage. |

Phoenix | Fort Condor Huge Materia Event (only if you win.) | All dead characters are resurrected and their HP is restored. Also does moderate Fire-typed damage to the enemy. |
Neo Bahamut | Whirlwind Maze | Does heavy non-elemenatal damage to all enemies, which is constant regardless of the enemy's defenses. |
Hades | Downed Shinra Plane | Does non-elemental damage and casts Sleepel, Silence, Mini, Toad, Slow, Confu, and Stop on all enemies. |
Typhoon | Ancient Forest | Attacks all enemies for heavy non-elemental damage. |
Bahamut ZERO | Cosmo Canyon (touch the huge materia after you have Bahamut and Neo Bahamut.) | The second most powerful summon spell in the game. Does roughly 9000 points of damage. |
Knights of the Round | Round Island (take a Sea Chocobo out to the uncharted isle in the upper right corner of the map.) | Definitely the coolest and most powerful summon spell you can get. Can do upwards of 100,000 points of damage. |
Master Summon | Cosmo Canyon | If you can manage to get all the summon materias to Master level, go to the Huge Materia in Cosmo Canyon to get this one, which allows you to summon anybody you want. Like the other Master materias, it does not gain AP and doesn't reproduce. |
