Recipes From The Heart

-Beer Cheese Soup-
1 large onion, chopped
3 stocks celery, chopped
2 cups fully cooked ham, chopped
6 cups water
1 12 oz. can beer
1 cup milk
7 chicken boullion cubes
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 teas. worcestershire sauce
1/2 teas. garlic powder
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
2 cups broccoli, chopped
1/8 teas. pepper
1 2 lb. box Velveeta, cubed

Put all ingredients,exept the cheese and milk into a large stock pot.
Bring to a boil. Turn down to a simmer.
Simmer just until the vegetables are tender, not soft.
Add the cheese and the milk. Simmer until cheese is melted.
Stir,stir,stir! Do Not Boil!!!
(Don't worry about serving this to the kids, all of the alcohol cooks out)
