Ten years have passed since that great day when Link slew Ganondorf and restored peace to Hyrule. Now, there is turmoil once again. The Stormreavers, a legion of druids led by their leader Alleria, have descended upon Hyrule. While not appearing dangerous, they are being blamed for many unusual occurrences. The 5 leaders of Hyrule are quarreling over how to deal with the druids. Each with their own plan, they are breaking the treaty and preparing for war. Zelda, the Wisdom Sage and Princess of Hyrule, has summoned Link, the Hero of Time. She needs his help while a war is brewing. In the adventure ahead, Link will join forces with an unlikely ally, and restore peace to Hyrule while he takes his place once again as the Hero of Time and gets the respect, glory, and honor he has deserved for the last ten years! The story unfolds....
Storm clouds shed their rain and thundered in the dark night. In the Council Room of Hyrule Castle, the leaders of Hyrule met for the last time. "There must be a solution to this mess!" bellowed King Luther, Lord of Hyrule.
"Not while they cause trouble and we want to be nice to them!" argued Samedi, the Gerudo Queen.
"We need to make peace and avoid another war," urged Mido, the Kokiri Ambassador. He was there in the Deku Tree's place since they could only meet in Hyrule Castle.
"No! They need to be crushed and exiled!" boomed King Danath, the leader of the Gorons.
"Why? There could be more of them. Let's force them to go home," reasoned King Zora.
"This is ridiculous! They deserve to be captives for their injustice!" Samedi yelled.
"No. We are not heathens," said Luther.
"That's right. We are leaders and we must keep our people safe!" screamed Danath.
"We will by making peace," said Mido.
"Peace will not work. We have tried and failed. We need action," said King Zora.
"Finally! Someone gets the point! Why can't you Luther or you Mido?" questioned Samedi.
"We believe in peace not war," said Luther.
"Absoulutely!" agreed Mido.
"Fine, have it your way. But I'm taking matters into my own hands!"
With that, Samedi stormed out and left for Gerudo Valley.
"Damn!" shouted King Luther.
"Damn all right! Damn you bastards for doing nothing!" Danath screamed as he headed for Goron City.
There was a long silence. Finally, King Zora got up and headed for the door.
"Wait!" begged Luther.
"What?"
"Zora, you are a righteous king. Your people are kind and peaceful. Tell me you will strive for peace," said Luther.
"I am sorry. I fear for my people. I do not believe peace is the answer. May the gods have mercy on you both and keep you safe." King Zora said, then left for his domain.
"Mido, will you help me?"
"Yes. I have stood with you before and I will stand with you now!"
"Then we unite under the Peace Alliance!"
"Yes!!"
Mido shortly after vowing to return. While he and Luther tried peace, the Gerudo, Gorons, and Zoras declared war on the Stormreapers and each other.
