A new point of view!
When you're swordless, go on Epona. Then start running with her and throw a deku seed. She will then run off. Hit R for your shield and then try to get epona to run back towards you. Have epona right over the top of you and throw another deku seed and then hit C-up..... you should then be able to see through link's eyes. That's how i did it, but it may be done in different ways!
