Ch 2

George Michael Dolenz dropped the body of the woman in his arms. He took out a handkerchief and wiped the blood from his mouth. It had only been a few months since he had been transformed into a vampire, and he had already perfected his hunting skills, in fact, he enjoyed killing. He walked over to his Jaguar (actually it wasn't his, he stole from a young man he killed four weeks ago.), hoped in and started the motor. He turned on the radio and tuned in to his favorite station. Enrico Inglaseus's new hit 'Bailamos' was playing, and he found himself humming to the Latin melody. It was his new favorite song because it reminded him of the night he was brought across.

Micky slid down the railing of the pad's stairway. He was so excited he nearly fell off the banister. He had a date with one of the most exotic woman he ever met in his entire life. He ran through the kitchen and right into Davy. "Ey!" the Brit. Yelped as the two collided and fell to the floor, "Why don't you watch where your going!"

"Sorry" Micky said as he climbed to his feet and ran out of the kitchen. He stepped up to the mirror in the hall to smooth out his curly hair and fix the tablecloth he wore.

Just then, Mike walked in the front door, "Get ready for your big date I see, Huh Mick."

"Yep. I can't wait! Man, I am so psyced! Nora's gonna be here any minute!"

Peter came down from the bathroom, "Gee Micky, I can't remember the last time you were THIS revved up"

"Of coarse you can Peter,' Mike interjected 'yesterday when he found ten dollars in the middle of the street."

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

Micky glared at his snickering friends, but stopped when he heard a knock on the door. "That's my date!" he screamed and ran to open the door. He recalled how he met her just five days ago at a gig he and his friends were playing at. He was on stage playing the drums when he saw her sitting the back of the club; he couldn't take his eyes of her the whole time. When they stopped for a break, he walked over to her table and introduced himself; the two of them got to talking and became inseparable. They'd been going out ever since. Micky opened the door to find Nora standing behind it. She wore a long, black dress, which matched her waist-length hair, eyes, nails and lipstick. "hi" She greeted him rather unenthusiastically. Micky wasted no time, he grabbed her, yelled a quick 'goodbye' to his friends and dragged her out the door to her beat up, old wagon of a car, and the two sped off.

They went to a fast food restaurant for dinner; Nora didn't order anything, which Micky thought, was very odd. After that, they went to a movie, Nora suggested 'Dracula's Revenge', and Micky agreed. Nora acted strange throughout the entire movie, every time Dracula bit someone, she would giggle. And at the end of the movie when Dracula was killed, she started crying poor, Micky didn't know what to make of this, and also didn't know what he was in for.

After the movie, Nora drove Micky up Lovers Point, a local make-out place for teenagers. Micky was very stimulated; he had never gone this far on a date before. Nora turned the car off, then turned to Micky. "So...what do ya wanna do?"

Micky didn't know what to say, here he was at Lovers Point, with a beautiful woman who was willing to do whatever he wanted, and he was speechless. "Uh, I don't know, what ever you want to do is fine with me."

She leaned over and kissed him on the lips, " How about that?" she asked teasingly.

"That's fine." Micky grinned and they kissed again, longer this time. When they pulled apart, Nora sat back and was silent for a minute, then she turned to Micky,

"I brought you up here for a reason." Micky closed his eyes and smiled. This is it, he thought. "Are you sure you want this?" Nora asked.

"Uh-Huh!" Micky replied. He waited for her to kiss him again; instead he felt a sharp, stabbing pain in his neck. He tried to scream, but he couldn't find his voice. Oh my god! He thought, I'm dead. Suddenly, the pain stopped, Nora sat back and Micky saw that she had fangs protruding from upper lip, and that her mouth was drenched in blood, his blood. She brought her wrist to her mouth and bit it, Then holding Micky's head up; she brought her wrist to his lips. Blood poured into his mouth, it tasted salty and warm. Nora withdrew her wrist from him and let the transformation take place.

Micky felt himself changing, his eyes and ears became very sensitive and alert; his hair grew slightly longer than his chin and his skin turned pale and cold. His heart stopped beating and he felt his canines grow sharp and dagger-like. He wasn't awake when the police found him and rushed him to the hospital, or when they pronounced him dead. He didn't wake up during his funeral or when they buried him. He did finally wake up a few hours later; he had to dig his way out of his grave. It was night, he looked around until he spotted a familiar face, Nora. She was the one who taught him how to hunt and kill humans, how to hypnotize them and how to listen for the heart beat. She devoted her eternity to turning him into the perfect vampire. Unfortunately, Micky had killed her a few weeks later.

Micky thought about the events that had happened to him in the past months. He thought about Nora and how he killed her for making him what he was, about his family, the pad, and about Mike, Peter and Davy. Ah the guys, he wondered what they were up to. He hadn't seen them in a long time, after all, they thought he was dead. Micky cruised along the boulevard where his friends lived. He decided to pay them a little visit, boy would they ever be surprised to see him.
