Mystery of the Sea

Mystery of the Sea

Mystery's parentage is such a patchwork quilt...yet unlike his sire, his breeding was intentional, so determined was I to have a bay pinto colt even though I owned no bay Paint or Mustang mares. I more or less got what I wanted, in the end, a handsome stallion. Friendly and smart, Mystery has a sleek and glossy coat after it's been groomed...but he has an attitude like a puppy. He "dogs" along after you on or off the lead rope, and always has his head dipped low so you can pet him. He likes to be hugged, too, and playfully nibbles at your hands or clothing for attention, although he's all business when it comes to being ridden. Like most studs, he has his moments, but he is usually quite even-tempered -- and of his seven half-brothers an sisters, he most closely resembles his sire's color and pattern.
