Cherokee is an intelligent horse with expressive eyes. Perfect on the trail, he is easily ridden or used as a pack animal. He's an excellent all-around ranch horse, and very dependable. He'll come running at the sound of his name, and has picked up a number of tricks, largely for the purposes of showing off. He'll wait quietly by your side if you take a break from riding, or will wander a bit to graze -- but always comes back. Cherokee is pretty close to perfect, as far as a horse goes -- once in a while he'll decide to be cagey and pretend he's totally untrained, but only when he's bored from lack of exercise. He loves his "job;" the more time spent riding outside of his pasture, the better. Cherokee likes to go places, and he's one of my top choices for riding around the fences to check for trouble spots.
