Stonewall Jackson

Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson recieved his nickname after the battle of Bull Run, where Jackson and his troops did not give in to Union attacks. General Jackson was shot in the left arm, which was amputated, after a guard percieved him to be a Yankee spy. Weakened by infection, Jackson died eight days later of pneumonia.
