Artic Cat has announced the plans to release two new machines in '98. The machines will probably be a 2 wheel drive, and a 4 wheel drive, both for utility purposes. Artic Cat has not released any further details.
Yamaha is said to be testing a new 600cc 4 stroke. From the news in a popular atving magazine, it looks like they might be stuffing it into a sport-quad chassis. With the amazing power from the '98 Yamaha YZ400F, who knows what Yamaha is capable of?
Polaris is going to release a new model in early '98. It will be called the Polaris Xplorer 335. It will have a 355cc 4 stroke engine, and have independent rear suspension, and the most ground clearance in it's class. This model is made to open more ATV's manufactured by Polaris to sales in California.
