Name: Leroy Simon Age: 64 (at conviction) Location: Kildeer, Illinois Crime: 34 counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and child pornography. Details: Simon confessed to molesting the three children, two girls and one boy, after police searched his house in October 1995. Police found 17 pornography videotapes with two of the victims and Simon, and numerous pictures of the victims naked. The evidence was located behind tiles in his basement ceiling. One child was molested from ages 8 to 12, another child from age 4 to 13 and the third child from ages 10 to 12. The abuse was exposed when one of the children told her parents that Simon had sexually abused her. Accomplice: None Known Date convicted: May 1996. He pleaded guilty. Sentence: 42 years in a maximum security prison. He must serve at least 85% of that sentence.
