Chapter Twenty Three

As everyone found their seats, the flight attendants helped them with their carry-ons. Walker and Diana settled in first class with Macky, Zoe, Jessica and Avery. Brittany, Zac, Ike and Tay found their seats in coach. "So what's for dinner, chicken or chicken?" Brittany recited lines from Tommy Boy. "It takes like, 8 1/2 hours to get to Paris from here." Taylor took out his CD player and un-wound his headphones. "Oh I know man, my dad told me." Brittany sighed.

"Ike, whaddaya think Tay and Brittany were doing over at her house the other night?" Zac giggled under his breath. "I am dying to know!" Ike looked over at Brittany and Taylor, whose hands were connected. "Do you think they wrote anything in their journals?" Zac's eyes widened with the thought. "Zac, I don't think we should be lookin' in their things." This was odd for Ike to say because he had always jumped at the thought of snooping in Tay's things. "Ike?" Zac felt his forehead, "Are you feelin' okay?" Zac knew this wasn't right. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine!" He wiped away Zac's hand.

4 hours into the flight Brittany wasn't feeling too hot. "Taylor..." She shook him. "Taylor, wake up!" Brittany punched his arm. "Ouch! What was that for?!" Taylor rubbed his arm. "Taylor, I don't feel too good." Brittany clenched her stomach in pain. "Are you ok?" Taylor un-buckled his seat belt. "No, I don't think so." Taylor un-buckled Brittany's seat belt. "Let's bring you to the bathroom." He helped her up from her seat and held her hand to the bathroom, passing his parents on the way. "Mom, dad, Brittany isn't feeling too well." His face took a concerned look. "Alright, do you want me to take her?" Diana asked. "No, we'll be fine." Taylor walked her the rest of the way down the small isle. "Here, if you need anything just tell me." Taylor opened the door for her. "Yeah, I need you to come in here with me." Brittany said, still holding her stomach. "Alright." Taylor squeezed through the small door and shut it behind him.

After Brittany had finished barfing up what it seemed like her whole stomache, they went back to their seats. "Tay." Zac whispered, "What's wrong with her?" "She isn't feeling good." He helped her sit down and buckled her seat belt. "Are you ok now?" Taylor asked, still standing. "Yeah, I think I need a sprite." She said. "Ok, I'll get you one, be right back." He walked down the isle towards the flight attendants. "Brittany." Ike walked over to her and sat down in Taylor's seat. "Hey, Ike." Brittany mumbled. "How are you doing?" He questioned. "I dunno, I don't feel well at all." She put her head down on the arm rest. "Well, if you ever need anything, I'm here for ya." Ike smiled. "Thanks, Ike. That means a lot to me." Brittany closed her eyes.

"Hey, outta my seat!" Taylor shoved Ike's leg. "Yeah, yeah. I'm going." Ike sighed and went back to his seat next to Zac, who was sleeping. "Here's your pop, Britt." Taylor handed her the clear cup full of sprite. "Thanks a lot." Brittany gave him a kiss and fell asleep. "Your welcome." He said as he kissed her forehead.
