Chapter Thirty Three

Zac comforted Brittany by combing his hands carefully through her long brown hair. She continued to sobb as Isaac walked her to the van where Taylor already was sitting in the back seat with his arms crossed, looking out the window. "I'm not even going back there." Brittany whispered to Ike. "It's ok, you don't have to." He reassuerd her and went back to go talk to Tay. "Everyone buckled?" Walker asked, starting the engine. "Yep." Zac replied, bucking his seat belt before his dad glanced at him through the rearview mirror.

"Taylor, common'." Ike cocked his head to the right. "Common' what." Taylor sighed. "It's not Brittany's fault." Ike said. "Brittany who?" Taylor rolled his eyes. "Don't even say that. She made one little tiny mistake and I think you should forvige her." "A tiny little mistake?!" "Yeah, you shouldn't be acting this way." Ike bit his bottom lip. "Yeah well, she crossed the line this time." Tay raised an eyebrow. "This time?! This is the first time!! And if you don't make up with her, well, then I am going to ask her out." Ike muffled his voice. "NO!! I mean, your too old. I mean I love her." Taylor uncrossed his arms and looked up front towards Brittany, who was sleeping. "That's more like it." Ike leaned his head back. "I'm so stupid." Tay covered his eyes with his hands. "Talk to her tomorrow morning." Ike said. "Yeah, I'll do that." Tay relplied.

It took about 10 minutes to get to the hotel. "Everybody hop out!" Walker carefully un-buckled Brittany's seat belt. "Taylor, bring her in will you please?" Walker asked. "Of course I will." He scopped her up and and carried her into the hotel where the bell boy, Drew, helped Zac and Ike with the bags of presents that they had gotten.

Taylor carried Brittany into her room and undressed her and put her pajamas on her. He covered her up with the thick blaknet and slipped a pillow under her head. "Goodnight, my love." Tay whispered as he gave her a light kiss on her soft lips. He snapped off the lights and closed the door carefully behind him.
