Chapter Fourteen

"Whats wrong, Britt?" Taylor put his hand on her shoulder, a concerned look etched across his face. "Ever since May I've always wanted to meet you guys, and in June I heard that you were comming here to do a mini-concert at the Mall of America. I was so happy, like running-around-the-house-screaming-happy. Then it came time for me to go to camp, so I was really happy because when I got home I thought that you would be here a couple days later, and that I would have nothing to worry about, that I would get to go to the concert. I called my dad and asked him if I would be able to go the concert 'cause I thought that it would be the next day. He said, 'I'm sorry but the concert is today and there is no way that I can get you home in time to go see it.' My heart was broken right there. Since then, I have been wishing, hoping, dreaming, and daydreaming about going on tour with you, loving you. My one and only dream has come true, and I am so grateful to be here right now." She finished, sniffling slightly. "Well, you can put all that behind you now, because you have us, and we love you." Brittany and Taylor sat there for a while, arms locked around each other.

Brittany was so happy. Her dream had come true. She couldn't wait to tell her parents. Brittany wasn't sure how all of her friends would react, so she would wait for a bit to tell all of them. Brittany stood up and looked out the window.

"Taylor, thank you so much for all of this." Brittany wiped the tears from her eyes. "Brittany, you are so very welcome." Taylor stood up next to her.

Again, silence filled the room. Taylor and Brittany stood there for a moment. Their arms managed to creep naturally around each other. Together, both their heads moved in, and their lips connected, and for one magical moment, time seemed to stand still.
