-----------Video Concept-----------
Brian's: Brian sits in the back of his church, head down, kneeling on a pew and praying. The church, like most, is huge with all it's stain glass and beautiful paintings making it look like a museum. A preacher is at the altar, while many other people assume the position Brian is in. The huge wooden doors blow open and the people, with the touch of the harsh wind begin to fight, become angry and bitter, get sick and just plain leave. The preacher, in dismay of all the sins, blows out the prayer candles and leaves. Looking like it was built 200 years ago, Brian lifts his head to the changed church. Rats run about the floor, plants and vines began to sprout up the walls, and broken stained glass liters the floor reflecting moon light that was once the sun. In complete confusion he gets up and walks (hopping away from the paths of rats and mice) out. Once outside, he turns and the whole building gets knocked down by a wrecking ball.

Nick's: He is in the middle of a summer day on a lake in a little rowboat (like Dawson in the intro. for Dawson's Creek). Leaves begin to fall and birds start to fly away. All the other boats on the water start to row away, until his boat is the only one out there. The wind picks up and clouds start to hover as the once fresh air turns icy cold. His boat's paint is all chipped and worn away. He looks around in confusion, and quickly rows back to the side of the lake. When he steps out, a huge hole forms where he had just gotten out of his seat, and the boat sinks immediately.

AJ's: AJ is sitting in the audience of an opera house or theater, in a whole full audience. The room is beautiful, dark wood, crystal chandeliers, velvet curtains and everything shinning as if brand new. There are performers on the stage and a lively, enthusiastic play is being acted out. One of the characters dies, and little by little the actors lose their enthusiasm and passion and the crowd thins out until AJ is the only one still watching. All that is left by the end of his scene is a torn up stage that has been scuffed and damaged, an aging, crumbling room with dust and broken, mis-cared for furnishings. He steps onto the stage and looks around, then sitting with desperation of how everything was destroyed and neglected. He peeks behind the curtain and jumps back as a car zooms by. Then he turns to see that what had been an abandoned opera house just second ago was now a busy highway.

Kevin's: He is standing in a park. There are kids playing in the playground behind him and couples holding hands walking through the scenic park. People walk their dogs and a heavy basketball game is going on with intrigued bystanders collecting. Little by little, the people start to leave. The couples drop hands, pets escape their leashes, the kids run off and the basketball players after missing all their shots...give up and leave. Trash and leaves spread over the basketball court and park area that was one occupied with happiness and life. He spins around and once he resumes his original position, Caution Tape surrounds the vast park.

Howie's: Howie (since he loves food so much) is sitting in a restaurant. It changes from 50's diner to 60's pawn shop, 70's disco night club and 80's old school rap hang out with MC battles. Then to the 90's, a family run restaurant. He walks from his table around the place. Flowers start to disappear from the vases on the table, paint from hanging artwork streaks off the canvas and down the wall, dissatisfied customers storm out, underpaid waiters and cooks through down their aprons and quit. The furniture that is left is covered with white sheets. Soon, a brick shatters a window and kids come in and vandalize the place, destroying furniture, spray painting graffiti and causing small chaos. Scorched walls and ruined memories, Howie shakes his head in disgust. Then, Howie is pulled out of his thought when firemen bump past him, running to put out a huge fire that had stared. He runs out, tripping through the thick smoke, and finds the whole building in flames.

*******In Brian's scene the wind represents evil, like the harsh society attacking the people in its path. In Nick's scene, the hole in the boat suggests the hole in your heart, from the pain and loss. The highway in AJ's scene is what I think of as the fast pace of life that makes you run from what you're happy with. The caution tape in Kevin's scene is the barriers we surround ourselves with when we are lonely and missing someone or something; the tape is the walls separating you and society. The smoke and fire in Howie's scene is what I interpret as the overwhelming feeling of loss.
