EXPERIENCE

Field Engineer, Raytheon International Data Systems, Amsterdam, Netherlands. 1979 – 1980.

· Installed, repaired and maintained the PTS 100 Programmable Terminal Systems in various airline companies in Turkey.

· Applied repair and maintenance procedures to RDS-500 Remote Development System.

Consultant Engineer for Aydin Monitor Systems in Turkey. 1980 – 1980.

· Involved in installation, repair and acceptance procedures in various NATO and national military bases throughout the country for ASM (Aircraft Survival Measures) systems.

Digital Design Engineer, Aydin Monitor Systems, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA. 1980 – 1983.

· Worked as a Digital Design Engineer utilizing TTL, CMOS and ECL integrated circuits for communications and telemetry equipment.

· Developed Phase Locked Loop circuits for a System Tailored Voice/Data Multiplexer. Designed and prototyped a Lob Removing Filter for a satellite modem.

· Developed and built an IEEE-488 Interface card employing a Z80 microprocessor for communications and telemetry equipment.

· Programming skills including Z80 assembly language and HP based mini computers. Prepared a System's ATP using a HP 85A microcomputer.

· Designed and implemented an I/O control circuit employing Z80 microprocessor for a Frame Synchronizer. Designed a Time Generation Card for the equipment used in the telemetry system for the MX missiles.

Sales Manager, Emerson and EKA Uninterruptible Power Supplies and Westinghouse AC Motor Drive Circuits, Istanbul, Turkey. 1983 – 1986.

· Developed strategies for market penetration and set the sales standards. Raised the sales of the UPS systems in the country (approx. 60 % of the total).

· Set up company procedures for sales force and controlled the market for the uninterruptible power supplies.

· Established excellent and profitable relations with various industrial complexes and government officials.

· Automated and computerized the preparation of the tender offers. Developed and applied policies for product promotion and marketing.

Technical Manager, Makro Computer Marketing Limited, Istanbul, Turkey. 1986 – 1990.

· Installed and maintained Novell 2.15 through 3.12 networking software. Performed server setup procedures and server implementation for NT.

· Designed and supervised installation of cabling and networking with coax and UTP cabling systems.

· Accumulated some experience in MS based servers and their applications like exchange, SQL and fax servers.

· Utilized some knowledge on web design tools, ASP, Intranet, MS Access and VB programming, PLC (Private Label Card) systems, e-commerce solutions and some other DB systems as a continuing technical challenge.

Sales Manager, Makro Computer Marketing Limited, Istanbul, Turkey. 1990 - Present.

· Set the company sales standards for networking and PC business. Sold computers, hardware and software to industry and government institutions.

· Advised to many customers for their requirements in the IT field, networking, accounting and financial software, as well as for their transition to e-commerce platform. Provided support service to international companies.
