Plot Summary:
A young schoolgirl named Lain receives an email from a classmate that had recently committed suicide. From that point, Lain is faced with question about who she is, what is real, and where the line is between the "real world" and the "Wired world." (The "Wired" is what we know as the Internet, and is where Lain's classmate now exists.)
