RugbertWhere can I begin with this page? I suppose I could start by saying who Rug is and just what he means to me since that is the purpose of this page.
First impressions mean a lot When I first "talked" to Rug I had absolutely no clue as to who he was. I had been talking to a friend of mine (Zon) and Rug took over the computer for a second and typed out a message. That message made me smile and blush and think woah who is that? lol Okay so I guess you probably want to know what the message said? Well, I guess I can oblige you laugh Message from rug: "You and your sister are total hotties. I think you are beautiful." After that I started to talk to him, added him to my icq and began eventually to writing him emails at least once a week. We started to get very close, I became his "hottie" big sister and he my adorable lil' brother. It so happened that My sister and I were going to a chat party in Kingston Ontario about 2 and a half hours from where Rug and his family live. Plans were made to meet up for my sister and I to spend a week with Chameleon and Zon and hang out with Rug and the crew. July 12 1999 that happened and I am so very thankful and happy it did.

Just who is Rug anyway? Rug happens to be one of the nicest and most fucked up (his words not mine) people around. He has this ability to make people laugh and smile. He can always brighten my worst moods. If you're a friend of his he's so very loyal it's amazing. People like rug only come around once in a life time and that is only if you're lucky. He doesn't believe himself to be anything special but he is. Trust me. The thing that makes rug so special is that he doesn't think he is and he cares about other people his friends and family and he's not afraid to show it to them. He's probably going to kick my ass for saying this but he's also damn cute (as the picture(s) below will prove) I mean that not just in a physical manner it's also in his shyness and sincerity, his intelligence and wit, his caring and cynicism.
Meetings When I met Rug in July Jessica and I were taken into the house by Nacho who called to Rug "Hey Rugbert I've got some presents for you" Nacho lead us to Rug who was sitting down by the computer, Rug got up with this huge smile on his face and gave Jessica and I an even BIGGER hug than his smile grins It was fantastic! Finally I got to meet one of the best lil' brothers a girl could ask for. We talked and hugged and snuggled. Fantastic. Smiles fondly He never once made me feel out of place ( too tall, too "smart", too smart-assed, et cetera) like a lot of people do he just accepted me as is no questions asked. But that is Rug for you. We talked together, snuggled together, watched movies(more snuggling), played video games (got my ass kicked in wrestling by rug and wookie and nacho) and yes, drank together *w*. Through it all I got to know Rug better and I all I can say is if you're lucky enough to meet him in a chatroom go up and say hi I can guarantee it'll be worth it. Rug thank you so much for being my friend and being you. I love you lots always and forever ya know.
