Dear Diary, Today I leave for Pittsburgh and the start of a two week Coaster Con trip. I'll be going to every park in Pennsylvania, Six Flags America in Maryland and Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. And right now I am driving myself crazy. I am one of those annoyingly efficient people who make up "to do" lists before I leave. And some of the things I feel I *have* to do are completely irrational - why must I take my car to be washed and cleaned when, *hello,* I'm FLYING? Why must every bill be paid, the trash emptied and the bedsheets changed? Do my fingernails and toenails really need to be clipped? I really think I need to add one more thing on my to do list: get my head examined. I am so excited for this trip. Tonight I'll be flying into Pittsburgh. Cindy Stout will be picking me up at the airport. We're staying at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center for two nights and I am hoping my room will have a pretty view of downtown Pittsburgh! Then on Saturday my park itinerary will begin. Here is our schedule:

It's going to be a great trip, with lots of new-to-me parks and coasters, including my 300th coaster! So I'll write to you each day giving you my honest impressions of each park and each day's events. Talk to you tomorrow!
