| The issue of Capital punishment has never been a
new one, nor is it an easy one. There are Organisations Pro and Against, there is historical data on the Death Penalty, even the religious
has become involved, but we are still divided on the subject. The methods of
execution and torture vary, but the result is horrendous, inhumane, resulting in horror,
suffering and death. Why is that, I wonder? Don't you? Is it because we are so advanced technologically, but psychologically we are still animals, savages, unworthy of calling ourselves HUMAN BEINGS? Is it because we are ignorant of the fact that I am no different from the killer if I espouse the Death Penalty? Are we not cowards if we, protected by the State, the Real Killer, we get our killing instincts satisfied, by murdering the offender? Or let me put it another way. Are we not ignorant of the fact that we are ONE with the very killer we MURDER? Perhaps this needs some more explanation. Those who care to inform themselves, will be able to find out that the ultimate human component is what we call Perception. And Perception, gives us the opportunity to find out what things are, study, label, name and classify them. And we do that daily. However, most of these processes are learned in our culture/ society where we are born and live. And this experiences, are invoiced in the act of conditioning Perception, gives it habits, moulds it in what we call a Person. The fact is that we humans (sic!) use our Conditioned Perception to Define our surroundings, our environment. In doing so, we create a Subjective environment, and an Objective one. It seems so normal, that we don't even question it. And even if we do, we are so strongly brainwashed/conditioned, that we won't be able to believe! (But don't be disheartened, read on!). The subjective environment, we call I, ME, and the Objective environment, we call it Other, YOU, HE, THEY. And strangely enough, it seems that the Objective environment is the Opposite to Us (I, ME). From a Physical point of view, that is True, but from a point of Perception, it is not! Have we not said that we Define (psychologically) what is Objective? In doing so, the Objective is non other then an Extension or Projection of the Subjective, so that we can say that the Subjective Objectifies. So whatever we call, name or define something, it is according to our inner Subjective Knowledge, Conditioned by past Experiences. Do you see now that Psychologically, in terms of Perception, we are the Killer? Thus, when you judge someone, you judge yourself, and whatever you do to someone, you do to yourself, and you also strengthen and reinforce the Conditioning. And that is why People find it so hard to change. But there is a way to change. But it requires a very, determined and strong will. Mostly, we react to circumstances. But let's say that somebody call you a name that you don't particularly like. The normal (sic!) Reaction is to destroy or get revenge on the cause. But if you understand that it is only in his/her Perception that the Prejudice exists, and what they say is not True, then you will not only stop from replicating the behaviour of the other person by doing the same to them, but have a chance to change the behaviour in yourself, and ultimately in the other person. How? Although many of us don't agree, there is a collective Unconscious, and it actually goes as far as World-Wide (Save The World Concerts for famine victims?) and we all swim in this Unconscious. Whatever our Minds generate, it goes into this Smorgasbord of Behaviours. Those who have strong will, they do not succumb to the Evil part, but those who succumb to Temptation, they will be Lost. Those Lost, become our Victims, onto whom we practice and strengthen our Evils, generating in the Unconscious Pool more and more Evil. But hey, our Evil is protected by Law! Our Evil is Legal, check this out! And all those Commercials on TV, all those ads, they do just that: Open the Door to Temptation, to lose control and be taken over by Desire. They are designed to Weaken Self-Control, to Weaken the Will of a Person. But this, some of Us don't even Contemplate, we are too caught in what we do to Others, how we can gain Power over the Objective World, and have it at out Merci (sic!), at our feet. Some kind of Humans we are! Normally, the brain, and ultimately the Psyche, works in the Realm of Electro-Magnetic Forces. And so, there is a transference of Behaviour by what is known as Induction. We know that we like to imitate, to worship, but also we know that some behaviours rub off on Us (depending on our tendencies!). If this is so, when someone does something to us, first of all we can change our behaviour in Us by choosing to respond in a Non-Harmful Way. It is hard, when we are so conditioned and have weak wills, but we can try. The more often we do it, the more easy the next time. And if we do this in our selves, by the same method of Induction cited above, (some call it Example!) we can affect others in a good, positive way! We can put a Stop the Evil. Even if the State sponsors it! But, as One has said: "Finally, it's up to you!". And after reading this and not doing so, you know why the World is as it is, and don't, for crying out loud, don't blame someone else for IT! |
