It was winter-time in Tulsa, and 13 year old Dawn Baisly was extremely happy. She was moving there.
She absolutely hated her old town, because she made one mistake, and all her friends left her. The whole school found out, and that made it even harder to find new friends. Then her parents came to her and her big brother Steven with the good news, the family was moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma the next week!
Dawn's new ho use was 2-story, with three big bedrooms upstairs, a huge kitchen and dining room, and a large living room downstairs. Also, there were two full bathrooms, one on each floor.
One of the bedrooms had a small balcony at the window, and Dawn soon claimed it as hers.
So, after a week, they had settled in and Dawn started to wonder about her neighbours. They never seemed to be home! (***Author's note: Guess who they might be???***) But soon it would be Christmas, she was sure they'd be home for that!
Then one night, Dawn was sitting in her room reading when a light went on in the house across the way. 3 boys (***Author's note: SURPRISE!***) walked in, looking super-tired. Dawn switched off her lamp so she could see them better. They looked sooo familiar…
The oldest-looking one had thrown a bag on the floor and climbed up to the top bunk of a bunk bed. The other two dropped their stuff too, and sat down. One looked about Steven's age, and the other two Dawn's age, as far as she could tell. And, they were all VERY cute. Dawn could easily tell that she had potential friends, and right across from her! But first, she had to talk to them…
