Jeph: And The Main Event set for Goldfest is none other than Dan "The Destroyer" Dehart takibg on The ICON Tyler Lee for the BJWC World title in a grudge match that has no equal. We got a special promo that was made by the challenger....let's take a look....
[The scene fades..........to a BJWC ring, the date flashes at the bottom, October 10, 1998. We see a young newcomer to the BJWC making his debut interveiw, it's Dehart...he stands in the ring as the crowd gives the rookie a warm welcome...he has a mic in his hand]
I told everyone here I was going to make some noise in the BJWC, and it starts tonight. Let me introduce to you, not only my best friend, but the man who will help me start the greatest stable in the BJWC, the UNION...here is The ICON Tyler Lee!!!!!!
[.....Tyler enters the ring and shakes Dan's hand....the scene fades as we hear the voice of Dehart once again]
It was the start of something legendary, the begining of the group known as the UNION
[Fade back in to another BJWC event...the date October 17 1998. We see Tyler fighting for his life as members of the FOUR attack him...the crowd errupts as Dan and other UNION members come to the ring. The UNION cleans house......fade out]
No matter what, we were a team. They tried to stop us, but failed...they beat us, we bounced back, We were the "good guys"
[Fade back in......BJWC Sunday Storm, November 4, 1998. It's the Deadly Games World title tourney and the first round pits Dehart vs Lee. The crowd was in frenzy. The bell rings, both men charge as if killing the other was the goal. Tyler slides to his back and Dan covers him getting the easy pinfall. Highlights of the rest of the night are shown as Dan goes on to win the World title by eliminating Ness Manson in the final rumble. Tyler and Dan celebrate as the show goes off the air......fade out]
It wasn't my idea for him to lay down. He was the team player, and his goal was the Hardcore Title. He didn't want to win the World Title. Maybe he knew he wasn't ready....
[Fade in to Sunday Storm, November 29, 1998. Billy Jay stands in the ring with Tyler Lee awarding him the HArdcore title because no one had the guts to challenge him for it....As the belt is handing over Dehart is the first man to shake his hand....fade out]
I was there with him. In his biggest moment of glory, I was the first person to shake his hand. He was worthy....
[Fade back in.....December of 98.....Tyler Lee has just lost the Hardcore title to Ness Manson.....Tyler is shown walking out of the arena as Dan stands in silence....Tyler would not be heard from for a long time....fade out]
He was upset, I tried to talk him into staying and getting revenge but he would hear nothing of it. I lost a stablemate and my best friend. He left us. We pressed on.....
[Fade in....Love Hurts PPV Feb 14 1998. After Steve Daye left the BJWC due to personal problems, the UNION was a man short going into the cage rumble with the FOUR. Out of the crowd comes Tyler Lee as the men who started the UNION are reunited. Reapers backstab makes it an unhappy ending for the UNION, as they are humiliated.....fade out]
I thought it was going to be business as usual, then Reaper screwed us over and it was game over. But I thought we could get it back, but he left again. For the second time, Tyler Lee walked out on the UNION....
[Fade in, BJWC Storm....March 1998, a man known as Ash has just won the brand new Noth American Title. As he stands in the ring he rips off his mask to reveal he is Tyler Lee, later that night the UNION is reformed as Dan and Tyler reunite. Along with Merlin and Malice they would soon become the NEW Four Corners of Greatness]
That was the best feeling I ever had with the exception of winning the World title. Knowing that I had my best friend back, and he was better than ever. We came up with the FOUR thing in hopes of bringing the cowards back. It didn't work....
[Fade in...Sunday Storm, May 1998...All hell breaks loose as 6 men including Tyler Lee and Dan Dehart form a group called The LAW and leave the BJWC holding all the titles........then we see clips of Tyler and Dan in action together in the IWA, fighting side by side vs Lanier Riley week in and week out...fade out]
we shocked the BJWC, then we ruled the IWA, and a few places inbetween. whether we were UNION of the Law, we ruled the roost. The IWA folded, and we went our seperate ways for a bit....
[Fade in.....BWJC Riot, August 99. It's a couple weeks after Dan returned to the BJWC, he has joined D2K with Cyris. We see the ring. Havoc...Bodies flying. From the ceiling comes a man dressed as ArchAngel. He helps Dan and Cyris clean house. He removes the mask. It's Tyler......fade out]
Another great moment. We returned to the place it all started. and we were kicking ass. It was a great feeling. We were at our best and together again. And it would soon get better....
[Fade in....various clips are shown as D2K ends when Cyris retires. Merlin comes back and helps to screw Dan out of the NA title. Tyler regains the Hardcore title and Dan is there once again to congradulate him......,The group known as UNION is reformed with Tyler and Merlin. Soon, Lanier Riley is brought in by Dehart, and the UNION is the best thing in the BJWC. After one failed attempt to win the World title, Tyler gets another shot, and this time, he wins it. As he is handed the belt, Dehart slides into the ring. He looks happier than Tyler. The UNION celebrates in the ring...fade out]
NO one wanted Tyler to win that strap more than I did. And no one was happier when he did. The UNION was back in full force . We were on top of the world. but then......
[Fade in....Rage Wars, Dehart had just won the North American title as Brandon Lloyd joined the UNION. We see Tyler Lee crack the chair over Dan's skull, as the Coalition is formed. Dan lies in a pool of his own blood. As Tyler walks out of the ring...Dan can be seen looking at him in shock.....Fade out. A still image is shown on the screen. It's a picture of Tyler nailing Dan with the Chair...the voice continues...]
....and then, he shattered it all. with one swing of that chair. He ended everything we had worked for. He not only made an enemy, he turned on his best friend.....and biggest fan. I've waited weeks for Sunday. I've pent up all the anger. It's fueled me. At Goldfest. It will be released in a fury of the likes which Tyler Lee has never seen. I can't lose. I won't allow it to happen. He threw a snowball down the hill...and it's turned into an avalanche that he can't stop. And it's going bury him.
[The image fades out as the last words are spoken......]
James Edgebrook:As we can see, this rivalry is a very large one. They have been friend for over a year! Since the LAW closed the BJWC down long over a year ago. And after Lanier, Ponce, and Tyler Lee have turned on Dan, it has been the most interesting fued in BJWC History! This may be the most evenly matched event in the HISTORY of the BJWC!

"Big Gun" by AC/DC blares up loud over the speakers and eahc and every fan in the stadium JUMPS to their feet. The place ACTUALLY ROCKS, the rafters are SHAKING!!!! Out steps Dan Dehart as the fans get as loud as possible.
"Tonights challenger. From Bloomington, Illinois weighing in tonight at 292 and 1/8th pounds. Standing at a towering 6 foot 8. He is the 3rd Wrestler in the BJWC's Wrestler of 1999 awards! He is the ONE and ONLY WrestleBowl Ultimate Champion! He currently holds the record for the LONGEST World Title reign in the BJWC! Fans go absolutly nuts as pyro hit as he enters the ring. Dan Dehart's song ends and he stands in the corner starring at the entrance for the World Champ and his one time best friend to step out.
"Enter Sandman" by Metallica hits the speakers and the fans take a millesecond to down out that sound!!!! "The number 5 wrestler voted in 1999. He is from YOUR very own MIAMI, FLORIDA!!!! (fans go wild and Jeph Phillips has to wait to finish announcing the champ.) Weighing in tonight at an even 275 pounds. Standing at 6 foot 5. He is known as the ICON! His fantastic finsiher is known simply as the SHOWSTOPPA! He is the BJWC's WORLD CHAMPION!!!! He is................"THE ICON" TYLER LEE!!!!!!!"
Out steps the hometwon HERO, Tyler Lee. The fans are jumping up and down. Tyler Lee stands in his familiay pose at the top of the ramp, the lights are dimmed but the glare off the beutiful BJWC World Title glares out to the fans. Pyro then explode and Tyler Lee who looks to be in the BEST shape of his life. He has been training these past weeks, here in Florida and has been preparing for this match since it was signed. Tyler Lee enters the ring and stares back at Dan Dehart. They never break their glance. The ref holds up the BJWC World Title, and calls for the bell!
THE BELL RINGS!!!!
Dan and Tyler begins to circle, the intensity is growing by the second. They both lunge at each other, but pull back and circle again. Tyler Lee looks to the corwd and they explode. Then Tyler Lee jumps into a lock up!!! The match has begun! You can tell by the volume of the crowd! Dan pulls in Tyler for a side headlock! Tyler quickly out pushing Dan off the ropes, FIREMAN's CARRY INTO A NECKBREAKER!!!! Tyler Lee looks to have picked up a few goodies while training! I've only seen Tyler Lee pull off that move one other time and that was long ago back when he fueded with Ness Manson! Dan right back up but recieves a snap mare! Tyler Lee is all over the challenger tonight! Great start for the champ! Dan begins to battle back after a spinning heel kick. POWERSLAM! Dan is now in the driver seat of the match! They return and Tyler Lee and the ref are out! They are on the ground and knocked out!!!! What is going on? WAIT!!!! There is a man standing behind Dan Dehart!!!! He is wearing a PLAIN GREY Luchadore Mask!!!! What is going on. The man in the mask taps Dan.

All three men are down including the ref. The fans are chanting both mens name!!!! Who will get up first? Tyler Lee rolls to his knee! THE FANS GIVE A HUGE POP! Tyler Lee looks confused he covers Dan, then has to go and retrieve the ref! He wakes up the ref! The ref shakes off the injury and counts!!!! 1..........2........KICKOUT!!!! Lanier Riley has come out and him and Tyler Lee are beating down the NEW BJWC World Champion! The COALITION are taking over the champ!!!!
On the Billy-Jay-A-Tron appears the former Tag Champs, Alpha and Omega tied up in the locker room. The fans go nuts!!!! But who is tieing up part of the COALITION??!?!?!? All of the UNION are coming to the ring, they have not been noticed back stage outside of their own locker rooms.
Here comes the REST of the UNION to save Dan!!!! Merlin and Goliath!!!! Merlin and Goliath lost their matches tonight!!! It didn't look like the UNION was going to even win one match but Dan pulled off the most important match of the night and here comes the UNION once again proving they are the NUMBER one Stable in the BJWC!!!! They attack Lanier and Tyler Lee! It's 3 on 2 in favor of the UNION!!!! We guessed the stables would play apart in this match, thank god it happened after the match so we could see a TRUE winner! I know Billy Jay will not be happy with Dan becoming the World Champ! I can't beleive he didn't interfear!
Speak of the devil! HERE comes Billy Jay and Kurt Swagger the NEW NA Champion!!!! They dive into the ring but the UNION make short work, double teaming Swagger and Dan hitting Billy Jay with the WORLD TITLE!!!!! The cage above the ring starts to fall!!!!
THE CAGE IS LOWERING OVER THE RING!!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON????? Who is DOING THIS!!!!! Here comes the NIXON masked man!!!! He sprints down and dives under the cage and into the ring! Billy Jay and Kurt Swagger are laying at ringside recovering!!!! Inside the cage remains the UNION's Dan Dehart, Goliath, G-Crusher, and the COALITION's NEW Number One Contender Lanier Riley and Tyler Lee. And the man who seems to be on NOBODY's side! The man in the NIXON MASK!!!!!
Nixon seems to be alligning himself with the COALITION!!! It's 3 on 3 here!!!! Nixon did beat down Dan Dehart at the last RIOT a few weeks ago!!!! They are in a big staredown the fans are going nuts waiting for something to happen!!!!!
WAIT!!!! The man in the NIXON mask grabs Lanier!!!! SLEEPER HOLD!!!!! That moves looks familiar!!!! That is a very familiar sleeper hold!!!!! The NIXON man is not with COALITION!!!! Tyler Lee backs off in shock!!!! The man in the mask tears off his mask as he stares at TYLER LEE!!!!!!
It's REAPER!!!! REAPER has return!!!! It was the LUL-LA BYE Sleeper hold that he has made famous that just put Lanier Riley down!!!! The fans are going nuts!!!!! REAPER stands by the UNION as they creep towards whats left of the COALITION!!!! Tyler Lee helps up Lanier Riley!!!!!

[Reaper has the microphone and waits for the crowd to settle down....]
"Ladies and gentlemen, THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER!"
(Crowd pops as Reaper rips off his shirt, showing a Law T-shirt)
You know, when we left this place in shambles in May, it was for a reason. All you punks in the back needed to be taught a lesson. We were CARRYING this sorry federation, and we had enough of the BS. So we didn't whine, we did something about it -- WE BURNT THIS MOTHER DOWN!
(Crowd cautiously looks on as a video montgage plays on the Jumbotron)
And we took off and kicked a little ass around the world. But things happen, and we went our separate ways. No hostility, just a break. And when Dan, Merlin and Tyler went back to WC, I had other things to take care of. But when they brought this punk (kicks Lanier), I knew they were setting themselves up. You see, the Law, we are family. And you don't mess with family.
(Crowd pops, as they think they see the direction this is going. Billy Jay is pissed off at ringside and starts cursing a river at the LAW!)
So when Riley poisoned the Icon's mind, I knew I was needed. My brothers needed me, because when you're family, you're there in a crisis. We're not about leaders, or joining forces for one feud. Merlin, Dan, Tyler, me and Big G; We're in this FOREVER!
(Crowd erupts)
And what have I come back to? Exactly what we feared. BJ ruining this place!
(Crowd pops at the mention of the heel owner. Billy Jay is going balistic! Billy Jay whispers something to Kurt Swagger and Swagger nods and jogs up the ramp!)
So, just like we did before, the Law has come back to clean up the WC and knock some sense into everyone! Tell 'em, Tyler."
[Reaper tosses the Mic to Tyler Lee]
[Tyler Lee raises the mic, looking to the crowd.]
"Damn it feels good to be back with my bros.."
[The crowd pops, looking on at the elite group. Tyler continues..]
"Now, like Reap was saying.. BJ, you've done it again. You've begun your own destruction. But.. you're taking the fed down with you. And Billy boy.. WE AIN'T GONNA LET THAT HAPPEN! Last time, we ENDED this place. This time.. all we want to do is stop YOU. You wanna go on a power trip, so be it. We're here to even the odds a little.
So, Billy, screw someone over, we'll be there. You try and bend the rules.. Break the law. [Smiles] We'll be right there, ready to snap back and take you down. So.. SON.. Deal with THAT. Jackass."
[He then looks down at Lanier's body.]
"Lanier.. You're right. You made me turn my back on my boys in The UNION.. But, you didn't count on ONE thing. The LAW. You, more than anyone else, should know I am LAW now, and LAW forever. You got your memory back the hard way I suppose.. courtesy of us.. of course. [Smiles] Now, we rule.. And you.. Are nothing."
[He looks around one more time.]
"BJ, stay in line.. I'm warning you.. Show 'em how it's done, g."
[Merlin grabs the mic, throws back his head, and looks to the heavens as the crowd shouts along with him...]
HEYAZ, BJWC!!! Yes, The LAW is BACK! Billy best be re-filing that loser brigade he calls a Council, and get some real support, or when we come for him, it'll be easier than shooting fish in a barrel! We had a purpose the first time we converged, and it was to tear the federation down. This time, it's quite the opposite. We've come... TO SAVE IT FROM ITSELF!
[The crowd pops, and Merlin, dark brown eyes narrowed, smiles wickedly]
Ultimate power corrupts ultimately. Billy Jay has gone too far. Interferences, making special matches with him as the referee, looking the other way when one of his own cheats, but ready to hand the pink slip to anyone else who dares sneeze wrong at him! This has got to go. This is not the Billy Jay that hunted me down in a smoky nightclub, sat down, and sketched out a return plan on a cocktail napkin. That was a true businessman. Now, we have a greedy, conniving, chauvenistic slob of a President, who can't even come up with a decent entrance!
[The crowd pops once again, and the g has to wait for their cheers to die down...]
C'mon, why not Guerilla Radio, or maybe Know your Enemy, or something else by the same band that's half-ways cool? Back to the subject, we, The Law, have returned to bring just that. THE LAW. We're the good guys. Don't believe us. Step out of line. Disobey our way, if you dare. Have the audacity to break the law... and you will see... that The LAW breaks back.
