You give up and you run away. Emily goes running after you. You sit down on a bench and Emily sits next to you. She says, "Are you okay?" You say, "A little injured but I'll manage." Your teacher comes by and sees you lying there hurt. She comes over to you and asks, "Michael, what happened?" You answer, "Darren beat me up." She says, "I'll go get some cold ice and you stay right there, okay? Now I'll be right back." She's back within a minute with cold ice to put on your head. She goes to Darren and says, "And as for you, young man..." He says, "What? What? What'd I do?" She says, "You know what you did." She comes over to you with Darren. She says to Darren, "Now apologize to Michael!" He says, "Sorry, Michael!" but he says it like he doesn't mean it. Your teacher takes him to the office again. For the rest of the day you don't see Darren and you're stuck with a bag of ice on your head wondering if you did the right thing.
