   You can fool some of the people all the time…

   This is, doubtless, one of the finest rock and roll albums of all time – if you enjoy listening to your tone-deaf uncle sing in the shower but wish he were doing songs of death and dissipation rather than old Bon Jovi tunes.
   Of course, it’s a evocative depiction of the junkie life, but, as I think Neil is trying to tell us, drugs are bad.
