The Mommies
Ryan was a regular on this show. Playing older brother of Danny, Blake Kellogg. I have never seen this show and it is hard to come by pictures and information. If anyone has any information, pictures or memories of the show, please email me! You will be credited!
I received this information a while back from someone. I can't remember the name exactly, but I asked if they knew anything about this series and he/she gave me information about the show. So here it is:
"The mommies began as the most white-bread of TV comedies, two cheerful suburban moms cracking girl jokes about periods, pregnancies, dumb husbands, and kids. The two wee almost interchangeable. Marilyn was the brunette, married to accountant Jack and mom to dense teenager Adam and perky seven-year-old Kasey. Caryl was the blond, who was pregnant, married to easygoing computer technician Paul, and mom to little Blake and Danny. Tiffany was Adam's girlfriend. Although The Mommies did not draw much of an audience, NBC continued to tinker with it, adding bits of spice as time went along. Barb joined the cast after a few months as a too-perfect neighbor, making the Mommies a little less so by comparison (she was married to Ken--as in "Barbie and Ken"). The role of Paul was recast with an actor with more of an edge, and sarcastic, stay-at-home dad Tom moved into the neighborhood. Then, in January 1995, Marilyn and Jack got divorced, leaving one mommy free to play the dating field. At the same time the name of the show was shortened to 'Mommies'. Based (at least originally) on the standup comedy act of the two stars,
Marilyn Kentz and Caryl Kristensen."
