MCMotorsports Driver DQ'd In Bonus Race
Coming off a strong team effort last week at Atlanta, MCmotorsports was hoping to carry that momentum into the Coyote Run 250. With hopes that all three drivers would would gain much needed series points. While Mike Chavez and Justin Thomas did, Gloria Chavez had a setback. 'Momma' Chavez's time was not allowed and was given a DQ for her race after her car did not pass post race tech inspection. With all three MCM drivers finishing very close to eachother the past couple of races, this could raise questions to the MCM integrity in the garage area. "It sounds funny, but with strong drivers, and all running the same setup, you would expect to get near the same results." says Rev Limit driver and BRS points leader Chris Kliemann. Kliemann is not stranger to controversy in the BRS ranks. His #29 GM Goodwrench chevy was checked and rechecked by officials after his dominating California win. Though his car passed and his time was allowed. "All I know is my cars and my times/speeds have all lined up, so I don't know whats up over there."
