RLR Closes Shop On #8 Team
Team owner Kelby McNath has suspended operations on the Best Buy #8 Chevy until further notice. The team members will be spread out among the remaining 4 cars in the Rev Limit stable. "We're trying to sign a couple more drivers, but until then the #8 car and the Best Buy team will be working with the 29, 92, 3, and 21 teams." McNath then sold the TCRL rights to the use of the number 8 to teammate and owner of CKMI Chris Kliemann. Kliemann will use the number 8 for Adam Cox's part time effort in a brand new car and sponsor to be announced later. Best Buy will remain with Rev Limit as a driver sponsor on each of the 4 cars. A Best Buy news release stated they(Best Buy) are still hopefull a full time driver can be found to drive with Best Buy as a primary sponsor.
