The Willow
Mind wandering.
She sits alone.
Unknowing how things can be so wrong.
She gave a love... so tried and true...
Only to have it laughed at in her face.
To him... Twas all a joke.
A game that he could play.
She'd held him in her arms.. Made Love..
He used her.... for a while...
She gave trust...
He dribbled her heart down the highway of knowledge..
A path she didn't want to know.
The chainsaw...
The wind cries... The Willow weeps.
She stands alone...
No longer willing to give shade as she wilts in the Sun...
Cut and Broken... Her bows are bent...
But rain will fall.
