My Obsession
I have this Obsession that comes over me,
Even early in the morning if I should wake up at 3
It is of this girl so far from me,
Deep in the mountains of sweet Kentucky.
Yes I have this Obsession of this girl of mine,
There is no other face that comes to my mind.
Then the face of my angel she looks so divine,
Sent down from heaven to live on the ground.
I have this Obsession with this girl that I love.
A love that is so deep it will never subside.
Her face so beautiful that if I could write,
From now till forever, I would never finish.
I have this Obsession of this special girl,
Our twin hearts beating, a single drum.
Sometime they beat with passion,
Sometime they beat with fear,
But they always beat as one.
So yes I have this Obsession,
It is for the girl I love.
Her name is Jasmine Nicole,
My angel from above.
Love always and forever,
Mark

She walks in Beauty
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that 's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
Lord Byron.
