Anticipation

Jasmine, darling how can we not
anticipate that first time we meet.
I dream about that day,
an wonder how it will be.

Will it be at an airport waiting room,
or at your home at your front door?
Will I see you first from a distants or will
you be up close just through a window?

Jasmine, can you feel that
excitment with me?
the shives that will fill our
bodies when we see each other.

Would you be running to me
at an airport or on the street?
It would be like slow motion I am sure,
you floating to me as you moved closer to me.

The anticipation of your first touch,
something that I want so much.
It would bring me to tears.
to feel you in my arms.

To feel the first hug from your sweet arms.
will feel like heaven I am sure.
Then there is the kiss from your lips,
I have longed for there touch for so long.

Then to look into your eyes
and tell you how beautiful you are.
I have waited so long to hear you say
I love you Mark, as tears kisses your cheek.

I would blot them dry with my handkerchief.
brought with me just for that reason.
To treasure them later and know that on it,
still are your tears of the first meeting.

It is with great anticipation,
I long for that meeting.
Having you with me
sound so appealing.

I love you more with each passing day.
I need to feel you in my arms.
Your beautiful body,
pressing hard against me.

Anticipating the feeling of you near,
Is a dream that is with me always.
I dream of sharing my life with you,
never to part.

Everything in place now
Time for her to go
Taking time to look her best
Tonight she'll really glow

Walks into that special hall
Where music is renown
Crystal ball is turning now
Drenching lights her crown

Glistening with such beauty
Her head is held up high
Searching for that partner
That gives her heart a sigh

There he is across the room
He's walking to her side
Takes her hand and pulls her close
Upon the floor they glide

No one says a single word
She looks to him and then
Lifts her chin and gives a wink
Her head begins to spin

Holds her as they twirl around
She follows him with ease
Whispers softly in her ear
Save the next dance please.
