The Bedroom:
Huge master bedroom on 2nd floor, measures 10’ x 15’ and spans front of the house. There really is plenty of room, and I have a lot of stuff! I have fit a full sized bed, a chair, 2 dressers, 2 bookshelves, 1 large desk & chair, large entertainment rack, 2 mini file cabinets, CD racks, end-table, etc... and there is still floorspace for all the lounging you can handle! There are 3 large windows along the front wall (w/ mini-blinds) to let in plenty of light and fresh air. Closet is not huge, but it does have built-in shelves along 1 wall, and dual closet rods.
The Rest of the House:
3 Bedroom/2 Bath medium size house. Upstairs bathroom is all white tile, has pedestal sink and designer corner placed toilet tank, plus closeted shelves for plenty of storage. Downstairs bathroom is off kitchen and has shower stall with great water pressure, vanity sink and regular (sorry not designer!) toilet.
Downstairs has bay windows, and is all hardwood floors in the good-sized living and dining rooms; upstairs is fully carpeted. All 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor of the house (no need to worry of getting stuck with a basement bedroom).
Kitchen: Dishwasher! Electric range/oven, pantry shelves, lots of windows.
Basement: Washer and Dryer! Large unfinished basement with separate storage room, shelves & closets. Brand new furnace.
Outside: Porch swing. Fenced yard and built-in grill on the side of the house. Free parking in the 2 car driveway (though it is long enough for 3 in a pinch) other parking available on the street.
The Old West Side:
Near the Stadium and only 2 blocks from Main Street. Kitty-corner from the delicious Washtenaw Dairy ice-cream shop. AATA bus stop on corner. Nice neighbors. Really safe and quiet neighborhood, mostly families. This would be good for a grad student or young professional. Or for anyone who is in-between leases.
The Details:
The Master Bedroom is only available for the month of August, 2003 as a sublet from me. You will be living only with one other roommate, since the other is moving out this week. I'd also be willing to sell my Full size bed/box spring/frame and large desk w/ chair if you need them.
