Conditions of the Show 2003..... this will be changing after the first of the year.
2. The artist or crafter or a knowledgeable representative must be present to show their work.
3. One current photo of your booth / display and 4 or 5 photographs of your current original, typical work must be include with your application. Photos can be returned upon request in advance of show.
4. An application is a commitment to show, NO refund will be give after confirmation is sent.
5. EXHIBITORS may only show work typified by current photos submitted.
6. Exhibitor’s booth must be open and staffed during regular show hours.
7. EXHIBITORS that are not checked in 2 hours prior (7 am) to show opening will be filled with standby exhibitors, NO REFUNDS PERMITTED.
8. ALL exhibits are to be in keeping with the overall family theme of the show.
9. EXHIBITORS’ booths must not interfere with adjacent exhibits in anyway. EXHIBITORS are not allowed to change the flow of traffic in any way or prop open doors without LWB permission.
10. Nothing shall be nailed or stapled to walls, bleachers, or floors of the exhibit areas. You may use tape provided all residue is removed afterwards.
11. EXHIBITORS must abide by all fire regulations and or decisions of the local fire department. All booth materials must be in accordance with local fire regulations.
12. All EXHIBITORS are responsible for keeping their area clean during show hours, including clean up at the end of show. All displays should be neat and clean. Tables must be covered and skirted on exposed sides with suitable, professional looking cover of flame-retardant material.
13. Electricity is available on first paid basis for a $10 charge. All extension cords used at the show must be HEAVY DUTY, three-prong type. NO two wire extension cords allowed. Please order electricity with your applications.
14. EXHIBITORS are liable for delivery, handling, erection and removal of their own displays. Youth representatives are usually available to assist with the unloading of your vehicle, but the exhibitor shall assume all liability.
15. Exhibitor are responsible for collecting and paying their own Michigan sales taxes if appropriate.
16. Lapeer West Boosters can require the removal of work considered to be in violation of these conditions and reserves the right to make final interpretations of all conditions.
17. Exhibitors are expected to honor the LWB $5 door prize gift certificates. Honored certificates may be reimbursed at the close of the show at the LWB admission table.
18. All exhibits, goods and materials must be removed by 6p.m. the day of the show.
19. Parking and traffic will not be permitted in the show area from one half hour before the show opens until fifteen minutes after the show closes. All unloading and loading must be planned around these times.
Vehicles are to be moved to the exhibitor parking lot (NORTH PARKING LOT) before the show opens. If the nature of your craft requires you to restock your supply during the show hours please note this on your application under special requests along with the type of vehicle you will be driving. Every effort will be made to honor your requests on a first paid basis.
20. THERE IS NO SMOKING ON SCHOOL GROUNDS.
22. Two chairs are provided per booth if needed. Please not this on your applications.
23. Exhibitors are responsible for their own tables and displays. Standard 8 foot tables are available on reserved basis for an additional charge of $10 each. Please note the need for a table(s) on your application. A $25 deposite has been added and will be reimbursed upon return of the rental table.
24. Your application will be juried and confirmation mailed within 30 days of its receipt.
25. Lapeer School District nor their volunteers are responsible for damage or theft prior to or during the show, nor are they liable for any accidents or injuries on school property.
26. Request for specific sites or locations can be made in advanace of the show's deadline. The Boosters reserve the right to adjust or change the placement or layout as needed by the entire show. We are sorry but we can not make changes to the layout or relocate your booth once the floor plan has been finalized and the floor is taped off. Last day to make special requests is NOVEMBER 10, 2004.
