Thank you for your interest in the Fila Brasileiro and in Poco da Onca kennels where we Breed Only The Best. Poco da Onca puppies are the result of very carefully planned breedings. They are born and raised in my home with the love and attention of my family. Should your situation EVER become such that you are unable to keep your fila at any time, please notify us.
Puppies from Poco da Onca kennels sell for $850.00 to $1,000.00 (breeding/show quality- health and temperament guaranteed) and $1200.00 to $1500.00 (breeding/show quality- fully guaranteed). They can be picked up in person or shipped after eight weeks of age.
Breeding/show quality dogs are an excellent specimen of the the breed as described by the official FCI standard and posses strong temperaments.
Health Guarantee
All dogs leaving Poco da Onca kennels are in good health and current on all vaccinations as to the age of the dog. The dog's health must be verified by a licensed veterinarian within five days of receipt of this dog. If there are any problems the dog must be returned immediately for replacement. All dogs leaving Poco da Onca kennels are also guaranteed against crippling dysplasia until the dog reaches the age of six years of age.
Temperament Guarantee
All dogs leaving Poco da Onca kennels are guaranteed to have correct fila temperament. This means that after the age of twelve months the dog will pass the FCI or FBCA temperament test as administered by a qualified representative of the respective organizations. Should the dog fail to pass two properly administered tests, return the dog with all paperwork for replacement.
Hip and / or Elbow Dysplaia Guarantee
Dogs sold with this guarantee are guaranteed to pass OFA certification at 24 months of age with a FAIR rating or better. If the dog fails to pass with such a rating before the age of 26 months a copy of the x-ray and OFA report must be sent to Poco da Onca kennels before replacement is made. The buyer may choose to return the dog or keep the dog; if so, he/she must provide proof of sterilization of the dysplastic dog.
* Replacement will not be made if the buyer does not uphold his/her responsibility to see that the dog is x-rayed at 24 months of age. Replacement will not be made if the dog has been used for breeding at any time.
All costs of transporting the original dog and/or any replacement dog will be assumed by the buyer. Should you have any further questions feel free to contact us at any time.
