(1) Shinjira Otani defeated The Wild Pegasus to win the WCW Cruiserweight Title.
(2) A match between Chris Jericho and Dean Malenko ends in controversy. The title declared vacant and in the rematch, Chris Jericho defeated Dean Malenko to win the title.
(3) Rey Mysterio Jr. is forced to forfeit the title and Chris Jericho is awarded the title.
(4) Psychosis defeated Blitzkrieg, Rey Mysterio Jr., and Juventud Guerrera in a four-way match to win the title.
(5) Lenny Lane is forced to forfeit the title and Psychosis is awarded the title.
(6) Oklahoma vacates the title. A tournament is set and in the finals, The Artist defeated Lash LeRoux to win the title.
(7) The Artist is forced to vacate the title. A match is set and Chris Candido defeated The Artist, Shannon Moore, Crowbar, Juventud Guerrera, and Las LeRoux in a six-way match to win the title.
(8) Due to a pre-match stipulation, the title can change hands in this tag team match between Crowbar and Daffney against Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch. Crowbar defeated Chris Candido to win the title.
(9) Lieutenant Loco defeated Daffney and Disco Inferno in a three-way match to win the title.
(10) Lance Storm vacates the title. A match is set and Prime Time defeated Kwee-Wee to win the title.
(11) Mike Sanders and Kevin Nash defeated Prime Time in a handicapped match to win the title.
(12) The title is now referred to as the WWF Cruiserweight Title.
(13) As of May 6, 2002, the title is now refered to as the WWE Cruiserweight Title.
(14) Hurricane Helms defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri and Kidman in a three-way match to win the title.
