1992 Katana Drag Bike
Here's a couple of pics of my awesome drag bike. It's a '92 Suzuki Katana 1100, lowered 3" in back and 1" in front, and stretched 3" by adding a 6" over GSXR 750 swing arm to bring the wheel base to 65". I also added the GSXR wheels and brakes and an electric/air shifter with on board compressor. The motor is a stock 1129cc with a mildly ported and milled head, degreed stock Katana cams, V&H Comp pipe and 36mm Katana 750 carbs. Weighing in at a hefty 540lbs (700lbs with rider) it ran a best of 11.04 @ 123 mph on it's maiden voyage at the strip. I'll probably be doing some jet changes and gearing to get it into the mid 10's and then turn around and sell it...that is, if I don't kill myself on the track first.

These were taken up north in Cadillac in 1999 on a bike trip to Traverse City.
