Solid Snake is one of the most famous characters of any Konami series. He has starred in mostly every single one of the Metal Gear games to date. In Metal Gear he was new to Fox Hound, sent in to retreive Grey Fox who had been captured during the time. He found him, and a weapon that could easily destroy the world. Metal Gear TX-58, was it's name and Solid Snake entered Outer Heaven and destroyed Metal Gear. The leader of the Outer heaven revolt? Big Boss, Fox Hounds Squad Leader. They fought and Snake won, and left the fields of Outer Heaven in flames. In Metal Gear: Solid Snake he was sent back in to Zanzibar, a base of terroist military actions. He found TX-58 again, working and had to destroy that. He also found a case of deja vu when the leaders of the base, were Big Boss, and Grey Fox. After killing Big Boss he let out last sentence telling him he was his father. He killed both of them and Snake retired from Fox Hound. In Metal Gear Solid he was sent in from retirement and sent to Shadow Moses. There he uncovered a plot of forced war, and learned some things he never would have suspected. After finding Colonel Cambell's neice Meryl he killed most of the terrosists except the current Fox Hound leader, Liquid Snake. Then finally in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Snake was shunned down to a smaller part. He had one small chapter of the two chapter story that he was in, where he discovered a new Metal Gear called Ray. Then a different person named Raiden took over.
