A RARE FRIEND
The fire's roaring in my fireplace
The coffee in my cup, is hot
I'm emailing friends on my computer
Boy is this the life, or not?
I enjoy each little moment
I am given everyday
And to spend those times with friends
Is a blessing, I must say
It's as though you"re all here with me
As I type, and send emails on
Those "how are you's", and "Hi's"
Are what my heart runs on
So, friend I want to tell you
You make my mornings so complete
When I snuggle in, and read your mail
How it makes my spirit leap
God bless you for your loving ways
Our friendships, oh, so rare
I could never find another, quite like you
We are a perfect pair
