everyone! My name is Carlos Pena and I play first base in the Texas Rangers Organization. I am extremely happy and excited to be here in big league camp with all these superstars but before I get into all that let me tell you a little about myself, don't worry, I will try not to bore you. I am from the Dominican Republic, my family and I moved to the United States in 1992 when I was 13 years old. I have been playing baseball since I could walk which is a long time and yes a very nice and long story, but let me get to NOW! I am here in the presence of such greats as Alex Rodriguez, Andres Galarraga, Rafael Palmeiro, Pudge Rodriguez and last but not least Ken Caminiti…can you imagine that?! I am living every kid's dream of being a big leaguer. It has surely been a dream of mine, but it isn't a dream any more. I am here and I am living it and enjoying it, especially with these true professionals. These guys are not only great baseball players but they are great gentlemen as well. They have helped me out tremendously, I have listened intently to them because I want to be the same great professional that they have come to be if not better.
