Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, Windows XP

DESCRIPTION:
The BVO Trans Component is a set of ActiveX DLL classes designed for use
in Windows programs and Windows Script Host (WSH) or Active Server Pages
(ASP) scripts. This component is written in Visual Basic and requires
the Visual Basic 6.0 runtime files in order to operate successfully.

The target use for BVOTrans is in translating data sent between Windows
"ASCII" text and text for other computers such as those made by IBM and
Unisys. BVOTrans has been tested in this capacity over Winsock
connections, serial modem connections, and with FTPed disk files.

These classes perform translation back and forth between ASCII and other
arcane character sets and text streams cleanly and efficiently. They
offer functionality to your programs and scripts by providing an easy to
use interface that is compatible with the object manipulation
capabilities of Windows component technologies.

While designed for use in script, these classes may be useful in
simplifying development in any programming language or environment
capable of using ActiveX DLLs.

This version includes the following Classes:

    * EA Class for EBCDIC to ASCII and ASCII to EBCDIC translation.

    * Nix Class for Windows text to Un*x, Amiga, etc. text translation
      of "newline" delimiters (and back).

    * Mac Class for Windows text to Apple Macintosh text translation of
      "newline" delimiters (and back).
