Sunday, March 9th,2003 Amanda Marie Boman died in a household accident. I'll explain more about the actual accident later. She was a 7th grader @ my school Holland Woods Middle School. She attended Colonial Woods Missionary Church. She's 12 years old and she enjoyed camping, fishing, swimming and family gatherings.
I've heard many stories about the accident that caused her death. But I recieved an email from one of her friends and it tells the truth. She was getting ready for church sunday morning at approximetly 8:00 am. She was taking and bath and fell asleep. Her parents were sleeping before that and they found her in the bathtub. She was rushed to the hospital still alive, but they could not save her, she had too much water in her lungs.
I didnt know Amanda very well she was in a different grade then me. But her death and touched my heart and now I miss just seeing her in the hall. I hate now that I'll never get to know her as well as I could have. Its something I'll always regret.
