Penny and Wheatus in Peteborough

arrived at the venue about half four and met char. we stood around for a while, not much happened for a bit. we saw the bus 'rocking' lol so we giggled about it with the awesome bus driver guy. after a bit pete came out to talk along with brendan. they both rememberd me and mandy! and pete rememberd where he saw us aswell the darling man. brendan asked for some of my gum, and pete took soem two, LOL the chewing gum i gave bbb made him sneeze twice and he explained how different gums make him sneeze a different number of times???! haha! pete nicked mandys camera, fiddled around with it and made a lil video of me mandy and char staring at him like hes a dumbass LOL we took some photos and talked abou the album etc. brendan came out and spoke for a bit about the album again and anout sony. so they went back inside because they had stuff to do and we just stood out of the way DOWN THE STAIRS.
after a while brendan came back out, spoke to the girls that were crowding the doorway and then came back to see us. we went for a lil walk to the willow tree and stood underit for a while. twas getting cold by this point and brendan opened his jacket and hugged me to keep me warm. we had random conversations about, the war, injured birds, celtic names, fly fishing...because brendan saw some bugs? lol and other stuff. hen we went back to the venue. everyone had dissapeared and it was soooooo cold so brendan let us 'inside' (lol dont you just love having the 'knowlege' char...hehe) sat around for a biiiiit then we saw pete looking for everyone outside lol he eventually found us and sat with us, so did shannon. char asked pete to give me a drumstick and then we had to go back outside. brendan went for a walk with jane flick and gemma and pete stayed with us. after that they had to go back into the venue, and we all stood outside wogether freezing our asses off for about an hour, maybe more, dont remember.
soundcheck started quite late and the venue was tiny. we sat on the floor because we were all dying of standing up for so long. they did the soundcheck and at the end pete came down and gave someone a drumstick, just as i was going to say "heeeeey i asked for one!" i turned around and he was holding it out to me.....oops lol! i got him to sigh it, then we spoke to shannon for a bit. i spoke to the guy from uncle brian about wheatus for a bit then rob tried to chuck us all out. i told brendan and he got rob to let us stay inside. we went downstairs gave in our tickets and then waited to go back upstairs.
the random door lady was saying how shes never heard of wheatus or teenage dirtbag much to the surprise of me. we go let back upstairs and me and mandy stood infront of brendans lace onstage. we waited for what seemed like ages then uncle brian came on. they were good and mandy stole bens set list. ok i'll skip to wheatus.
YAY wheatus finnaly started and it felt so good to be seeing them play live again!! brendan had his foul lycrish tea that stank *he made me smell it earlier* i poked fun at him about it lol they were amazing :o)! i love the deck it sounded very good, also heard randal which i thought was cool. from what i can remember they played humpem n dumpem, sunshine, leyroy, lemonade, freak on, randal, the deck, dirtbag, teh song that i wrote when you dissed me...argh my memory sucks lol. it all sounded good and everything went well, i got spat on by brendan a few times when he sung lol they went down really well with the crowd as far as i could tell. brendan chose some people to go onstage, me being one, and other random people ran on anyway lol so it was a bit packed. i tried to get flick to come up but she refused hehe!
it was a very good night and they raelly do get better everytime :o)
